Michael Tait - Empty. Rise immediately showcases Building 429's maturity at all levels throughout the entire album. Jason Roy's vocals compliment the band's solid rock sound, and his songwriting has improved. One problem I had seen in some of the harder rock songs on Space In Between Us was that he would try a high note when it wasn't really needed. This is almost completely gone on Rise, only present on the opening track, Searching For A Savior, a solid intro to the disc, and Now That It's Over. Roy still works the high notes in on the rockballad songs smoothly, li. album by Building 429. Searching for a Savior. Album 2006 11 Songs. Building 429. A lot of potential Posted May 10, 2011 I really enjoy the Christ centered lyrics from Building 429 and the great way this album was mixed and the quality of the music overall. I really enjoy the tracks with the thick wall of guitars. After listening though, I'm realizing that the thing I enjoyed the most was the guitars and the background music and wasn't particularly moved by the vocal performance. Rise, 2006.
