Necroticism Descanting the Insalubrious is the third album by British extreme metal band Carcass. Many of the tracks describe economical ways to dispose of dead bodies. Carcass discography all. they formed in Liverpool England, 1985 when guitarist Bill Steer left another one of the first grindcore bands, napalm death, to do a project of his own. This album is the first to feature guitarist Michael Amott. Carcass' third album Necroticism: Descanting The Insalubrious saw the band begin to move further away from the blur of full-tilt grindcore to a more technical & somewhat melodic metal that wouldnt yet polarize their fanbase the way their next effort Heartwork would do.
