The band began essentially as a solo project for Wilson, who created all of the band's music. By late 1993, however, he wanted to work in a band environment, bringing on frequent collaborators Richard Barbieri as keyboardist, Colin Edwin as bassist, and Chris Maitland as drummer to form the first permanent lineup. With Wilson as lead vocalist and guitarist, this remained the lineup until February 2002, when. XM by Porcupine Tree, released 12 March 2020 1. Blackest Eyes XM 2. Sound of Muzak XM 3. Porcupine Tree is a UK rock band that started in 1987 as a solo project by songwriter Steven Wilson, but then from 1993 until their last shows in 2010 became a full band. PORCUPINE TREE released WARSZAWA, in 2004. Like for the band's previous live album from 1997 Coma Divine, almost all the songs seem to be energized in a live setting compared to their studio versions, this IMO mainly because of the stronger presence of the drums. If, like me, you think that PT is the best band out there, you will add this great album to your collection. If you have never heard of them, this is as good a place as any to get aquainted with them
