Employing the same successful formula of the first volume in the series, this album combines tracks from the Higher Intelligence Agency, GOL, Banco de Gaia and others to awe-inspiring effect, taking the listener on a musical trip that can be enjoyed equally well with or without chemicals, though it must be said some something a little psychedelic wouldn't go amiss for. I love dub reggae, triphop and ambient music in various forms so I thought I'd give this a shot. It's not bad. It's closer to ambient than anything. My main issue with this and other things like this is that the dynamic range is way to broad. Contrary to the series title, 'DeMat DubRim' is the only ambient dub track. While similar to the first disc in most respects, the song choice makes this sequel stronger. Always intoxicating, moods range from mellow to hyper.
